Location & Dates

+ What are the dates for the 2017 Global Leadership Summit?

The GLS in NZ runs through October and November and a number of different venues. Locations and dates are here.

+ Is the programming the same at all locations?

Two-day events run from 7pm – 9pm, then continue at 9am the following day finishing approx. 4.30/5pm. One-day events run from 9am – 9pm. Although the order may vary depending on whether it runs over one day or two, the content will be the same.

Pricing

+ How much does it cost to attend?

Regular Individual Rate is $110. Early Bird rate of $90 is available until a month prior to each event (note: venues and dates differ). Bring a team of six or more from the same organisation and save 10% off this individual rate. Full Time Student and Superannuitant rate is $60.

+ What does the conference price include?

Registration for the event includes all conference materials as well as break refreshments. Meals are NOT included in the price of registration.

+ Who qualifies for the Student rate?

The Student rate is designed to assist unemployed, full-time students attend the GLS. Mostly school students. It does not apply, for example, to adults who are employed and studying extramurally.

+ How do I register for The Global Leadership Summit?

You can register online. Click here and select the venue and event you wish to attend. If you are having problems, you can contact Karyn on: karyn@willowcreek.org.nz or 021 437 803 during office hours.

+ Can I share a registration with someone if I can't attend the entire event?

We do not provide the option to share registrations between multiple individuals. The event has been designed as a holistic experience and is best if attended in its entirety.

+ Do I need to have all the names of our group when I register?

We allow groups to reserve "empty registrations" and then submit names and email addresses of those who will be attending at a later date. We encourage you to enter those details by mid-September; however, a registrant's name can still be changed without charge by contacting us up to a week prior to the event. Email: office@willowcreek.org.nz.

Please note that attendees should each register their own email address as this is used to gain access to the conference app.

Miscellaneous

+ What is your cancellation and transfer policy?

Should you need to cancel your registrations, please notify us which you prefer:

1) Refund of fees (less $10 cancellation fee if before one week prior to the event – less $20 cancellation fee if during last week prior to the event);

2) Transfer to another person’s name (free if before one week prior to the event – $5 admin fee during last week prior to event).

3) Transfer to a future event within one year (free if before one week prior to the event – $10 fee during last week prior to event).

There will be no reimbursements for cancellations made on or after the day of the event.

+ Can I bring my children to the conference?

While families are very important to us, WCA conferences are adult training events, so children and infants, including nursing infants, are not permitted in any of the sessions. Childcare is not available and we cannot guarantee a separate room for parents to stay with their children.

+ Does Willow Creek take photographs for promotional use during the conference?

For promotional purposes, videos and photographs may be taken at any conference. Your registration constitutes permission for the Willow Creek Association to use your likeness in promotional materials. Please contact office@willowcreek.org.nz if you cannot be used in promotional photographs.

+ Will I be added to your database?

All people who register for an event are entered into our database so that we can keep them informed of upcoming activities that may be of interest to them. Unsubscribing is a simple process if people to do not wish to receive our emails. As per our Privacy Policy, email addresses are not shared with any outside person or organisation.
